Looking to see if I can ID the display being used on this car. I know it's running DS1, but I have scoured their site and find no references to displays and such.
Obviously aftermarket, but whose?
Cheers,

Damn... DS1 native. [headbang] Was hoping for something OBD like P3's.
Oh Well.
Thanks!

you can install both.
the DS1 runs on a network to the bTRES, you will hard wire your P3 gauge to the OBDII port

But afaik, you can't run 2 obd devices (ds1 and p3 gauges needs to be hooked on obd port, even with splitter. Still haven't updated my ds1 tune to connect btres but at least my fis mmi shuts down with i plug in odb11 or ds1 dongle...).

Tyler at TGK was able to do it. You dont use the splitter, you have to rewire to get the 12V source that the P3 needs to display real time eth%
you also need to change the priority of the P3
I can see if Tyler can chime in with his setup

Hmm interesting, but in my case i'm affraid fis mmi will still disconnect (it used to work but creator made a firmware update long time ago that made it loose connection when other device gets obd access, might need to ask him again if he can change it as i love to have btres and fis at same time).

Jesus couldnt remember my login 😂
Anyways i think it depends on the program and if it can use low priority, for my flex kits im releasing i have two signal outputs that still read correctly so i can use my P3 and DS1 simultanously. P3 is in low priority mode so DS1 took over priority on the obd2 port. My car has adaptive cruise and the whole using the boost gauge wasnt appealing to me.
As for btres its a dope product if you have DS1, but some dont so your kinda stuck on that aspect. I like it but i dont like the mounting location of it personally. IMO travis should release a mount that directly fits it into the sunglass holder and angle it towards you, up and out of the way (semi driving background so im used to everything above me lol)
As far as das, i would like the FIS module but idk if it can go in low priority mode? Honestly the only reason you need ds1 plugged in is for ethanol reading and they dont have ethanol where hes from so its kinda pointless for him tbh.
I wana go 12.3” screen for the radio anyways so now sure if someone can create an app? Or just do the whole firestick screenshare trick lol
