When was Sport Exhaust introduced in S6?

In a facebook group, it was suggested that the factory Sport Exhaust was available on 2013 model year S6s. I was always under the impression from posts over the years that it as not until 2015 or 2016 that it was introduced. I cannot find any info via google searches and am curious as to when it was actually introduced.

Also, are all C7 exhausts valved, whether sport exhaust or not?

The black Sports Exhaust was introduced with the C7.5 mid cycle refresh (2016+?). However, all C7 S6/S7 exhausts were valved .. Just that the left side valve is in a different place (right before the straight-through type muffler) on the Sport Exhaust.
