piecing together brake kit

has anyone here attempted to piece together a porsche big brake kit or boxster kit, ever since coming across purems.com and doing some research on ebay im really considering piecing together my own system, but before i start, can i get some insight or advice?

it would be much easier to just buy a kit. If you really want to go thru peicing something together go to bira.org and see what they have for adapters etc..
