I'm curious if any of the pcv components from the B8 A4 work with the B7 A4, more specifically the turbo PCV adapter plate. It's the last thing i need for a clean custom catch can set up.

This is the PCV adapter plate for the B8 model range A4, It appears to be the same however pictures give it no justice to determine it's size. Anyone done this or tried it for a PCV on a B7?

This one is from a catch can setup for a golf R. I believe it would work however you can't buy it by itself and it comes with a 500 dollar kit that i wont use much of since the pre made hoses are not long enough for what i'm looking to make.

The B8 PCV system is different than the B7. I admit to not being totally familiar with the B8 system but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that B8 aftermarket parts are likely not compatible for the B7. Not a big fan with CCs either - often more trouble than they're worth. Were you having problems with your stock PCV system?

[wrench]a cc system in the winter are terrible around here. They tend to freeze up & cause issues [:(].

I've been running a catch can on my b7 for a couple years now. Winters here in Toronto get down to -38C (-36F) and I've never had issues with it freezing up. I just have to drain it more often in the winter because of condensation. I make it a rule to empty it whenever I fill up gas for the week. I installed a valve and hose that runs down behind the control arm, so I never have to unscrew it. Just place a pan behind the wheel, pop the hood, open the valve.

I was trying to put a billet aluminum valve cover on my B7 because of the countless issues with the stock pcv system going bad all to often. Recently my valve cover itself developed a crack in the pcv passage causing the turbo to suck oil from the head so a billet cover would solve any current and future issues. Also i live in a constantly hot area so cc maintenance wont be much of a problem.
