When removing the (seized) caliper, the hard line got mangled (one).
Made a new one (reusing the larger of the 2 nuts).
Did NOT seal on new calipers.
Other original hard line ALSO not sealing on new (Autozone, refurb).
Made another one (buying 6" lines with metric ends, cut, put old nut on, make flare one end (using double flare tool (step one only), 3/16 line, on one end; other end as supplied).
Still leaking.
Always leaking from CALIPER.
Want to order the ORIGINAL hard line. How is it called? Part number?
Any ideas why it is leaking on caliper end?
What flare ShOULD be used?
If calipers are questionable (one was crossthreaded, can't say if by me in the process, or if it came that way), any inexpansive NEW ones that work?
