Hey guys. I'm new to this chassis and I've had a stock 07 2.0t for about six months now. It's run great so far with no codes or issues up to this point.

Last weekend I had a no start issue with P2293. Initially the car ran fine. No codes at that moment.
I filled up with 93 then started the car and got misfires like there was a fuel cut and it died. I tried starting it up a couple more times and got it to run. It ran fine just the CEL. No misfires or fuel cut. I limped it home and cleared the code in the morning. It didn't come back this week.

This evening I was driving home at around 30 mph and P0089 came up. This time, the car stayed running with zero misfires or fuel cut.
I cleared the code and tried replicating it with a WOT pull in second to redline. I drove spiritedly the rest of the way home and was unable to replicate the issue.

On this car, the following parts have already been replaced:
-HPFP/LPFP
-Intake Cam
-Cam follower
-Timing belt & tensioners

From my reading, these may point to the HP/LP fuel sensors, but when in tandem, can also be the follower and HPFP.
I contacted the dealership that I purchased the car from and they gave me the number to the shop that performed the work. I spoke to him and he initially recommended the sensor and when I spoke to him this evening he urged me to replace the cam follower ASAP.

I work in Ford Service and will be stopping by Audi Service next door in the morning but I guess I'm just searching for second opinions. I understand that the fueling systems on these things are wonky and could really be anything from a fuel filter up to the followers to a filter or sensors. The codes don't point to much and at this time I don't have access to a full version of VAGCOM that'll work on this vehicle to do data logging, so I'm grasping for straws here.
