Right folks i have been reading about Porsche brake upgrades it all seems a bit confusing though.

I have looked on ebay and there are a fair few different types of calliper.

Such as 944, 993 turbo, boxter, boxter s and 996.

You also get RS2 porsche calipers.

Which ones work and whick ones dont?

You would then need carriers.

Something like this?

If that url doesnt work its item 300030901628

Does anyone have the part numbers of the calipers?

Here is are some examples of what i found.

I think these are boxter s ones.

Also has anyone manages to squeeze 17s over these brakes?

You dont want 944 or 930 calipers. The boxster or boxster s calipers will work great. Boxster s and 996 are the same.

Just buy the bracket from pure motorsport.

Ok cheers.

Are the S ones the better ones to get or is it 6 and 2 3's?

Then i need S4 brake discs? And what about brake lines?

Right contacted Purems and they said they only have brackets for the boxter calipers not the boxter S.

Anyone else have brackets?
