Hey gang - Does anyone have a good recommendation on replacing or rehabbing the fish scale trim pieces. Mine look like hell and it distracts from an otherwise really nice interior. I cant find any reasonable carbon or other kits. I feel like painting would look weird. Any help would be great!

you can strip and polish the scale. or carbon fiber skin the parts. I carbon skinned all my parts but the process and work takes about 2 weeks to look good.

Turn it into brushed aluminum. I did that on a B6 and it turned out great, there is a DIY floating around somewhere.

Pardon my ignorance but what is the 'fish scale trim'? Are those the bits where there is usually a carbon fibre/aluminium/wood inlay running across the dash and door panels?

I've got a set of brown/walnut trim and a couple brushed aluminum trim pieces if you're interested.
