Just another thread among the many that was lost in the mayhem. Hopefully the title themselves with help during a search.

daily driving, it just gets tucked up in the bottom of the car. during track events, they are connected to the openings in the splitter

clean up? as in clean all the caked on dirt, grease, oil and what not? If that's what you mean, yeah, I wish. I really need to pick up a power washer and make all that shiat look like new. Unfortunately living in a 3rd flr loft in brooklyn really doesn't give me much opportunity to just clean. I work on the car, clean up my mess and get out.

how I roll...

In the lost version of this post I said how much respect I have for you for making your own stuff that is too cool for the aftermarket to make.

So I'm saying it again now. Awesome.

NYC modding at its best!!

I've also seen people run the ducts to the front grills on a stock A4 bumper...but if you have a FMIC also, you'll need to get creative.

hey i wanted to know what kind of piping you are using...I have a 240sx with an aftermarket brake system and aftermarket bumper..and im basicaly doing the same exact thing as u are doing....exept im having the brake duct come out to the front of the bumper and its going to be connected to the grille its self...i just want to know what kind of piping that is and what those white plastic things are that u used to connect it...thank you

if you shop around you can find the tubing for a decent price. Here's a link to Pegasus Autoracing Supplies. They carry both the neoprene and the silicone stuff. I've had both and highly recommend the silicone stuff. The neoprene stuff fell apart in less than 6 months - not as a result of heat either. Its not meant for brake ducting applications - its meant more for air intake to the cockpit. The silicone stuff holds up much better to normal wear and tear. If you look hard enough you can find it for much cheaper. I'll see if I can find the link to the place I actually purchased from.
