My family has an extra car for awhile so I figured it would be a perfect time for me to respray my car while I can jet around in another whip and not have to worry about my car being down.

I do all my own paint and have my own private shop/booth, so I will be doing the work but I'm still up in the air as to what color I want to do.

Currently the car is a 99 A4 1.8tqm, Silver, c/f hood, black roof and pillars, and gunmetal s4 avus rims.

I would like to keep the black roof and black hood but want to change up the silver. I have been thinking Aston Martin Green, I don't want anything to bright obnoxious just something subtle and unique.

What do you guys think?

Here is some of my work (don't have any pics of the car in current stage):

If I had my wish, I'd do nogaro.....or for a more unique touch, something like a bronze or copper. But, my vote is nogaro.

nogaro sounds bad ass to me.

How much would you charge to respray a hood and bumper santorin blue? I'll take them off the car and prep and sand them. I just need you to spray the primer, base, and clear.

If I was going to go through the trouble of changing colors I would want something unique. Not necessarily something that stands out, but definetely not a factory audi color. Personally, I would like a dark royal blue. I would use Dupont's Hot Hues paint or that other candy paint which I can't remember the name lol.

I really like a Lexus color Dark Gray Mica or something like that. It's a real dark gray, almost black.
BTW i can't see the pic you posted.

House of kolor, that's the brand I was thinking of. I would definetely go with a special paint like theirs.

real BRG British Racing Green is not a shiny finish. it is more of a dull matte. i've always thought that a satin titanium metallic with several coats of clear would look incredible.

thats only b/c of clear coat, you can change the finish by the clear you spray, if you look at the motorcycle above we used normal base and "Flat and Flexed Clear" which was 0-5%gloss and thats how we got the desired color

I'd say if you had a Mini or an MG or something, the BRG would be great... Not on an Audi though!! Go with something that no one has...

That M3 Purple is crazy nice, I think we may have a winner, although I don't know if I can justify driving a purple car

I'm also going to look into the Porsche Dark Teal

I think this might be a winner, I may spray it in a flat/semi gloss instead of super high gloss
