How much do you think this is worth? 2019 Audi RS5 coupe with 6800 miles.
Still has that Audi care plan and just had it's first service today (10k service).
Ultimately trying to decide if sell this, or return to factory and order a new C8 RS6.
Would it be far fetched to sell at $80k?

Having been in the market myself that is not at all a stretch. Many buyers won’t care about all the non-OEM mods, but they might not want to pay for them either.
Regardless, I have seen many 20k-40k mile 2019 RS5’s asking in the $70,000-$75,000 range. I think you should have no problem getting $80,000 from an enthusiast who appreciates all of the additional parts you’ve put in.

Gotta find the right buyer to get that price - Especially private party because if the buyer isn't paying in cash, it could create some challenges with financing.
Not sure what the market is in the Midwest, but you'll likely get roughly the same money if you pull off the mods - Then, you can sell the mods and make even more $$$.

I really hope I don't have to return it back to factory. That's the biggest pain. I'm going to list her and see what happens.

Mods don't factor in unless you find that specific buyer that has the same tastes are you. Best bet is to check out local dealers, autotrader, etc. and see what comparables are going for.

Just curious. What does KBB show as its value for private sale and for trade in? I was curious about my 2021, but KBB does not list a 2021 RS5. Of course, this would not allow, or account for your many modifications.

I think it depends on where you sell the car. Over here in California. 7k miles with clean carfax and stock would prob get a carmax/dealer offer of 65-70k. They'll then try to sell the car for probably 75-80k.
If you selling private, you would really have to find that 1% of people who appreciate and understand all the mods done. Most the time, buyers will just see the mods, and assume the car has been abused and will lowball you.

I know a few people who have bought modded cars and then spent time and money undoing the mods and installing the ones that they want. So yeah, they lowballed the seller because they knew how much they'd have to spend to get the car the way they want it.

I was offered $70 from the dealer, downpipes would need to be returned back to factory. I'm going to list it, and hope to find the right buyer. Not returning to stock, too much stuff.
What KBB shows for value is different in my case, car won't ever be "certified" through Audi. If it were stock, I could get 5-6k more. So I need to find "that buyer".
Trying to move this and my 2003 Cobra. I need that RS6 life.

Well, if you got an offer of 70k from the dealer and use it toward a trade-in, you would save another 5k on sales tax. (depending on sales tax in your state). That is the equivalent of 75k on a private sale. I would jump on that.

That just clicked. Thanks for that!!!! Going to go that route more than likely. I hadn't factored in trade.

For what it's worth, I just bought my 2019 4 door Sportback that was fully loaded $100k sticker, 12k miles, zero mods for $72k (Sonoma Green). 2 door coupe tends to run lower resale, but your mods will help some, but not as much as you hope. But I'm an advocate for starting high and lowering, see what response you get. Did that with my SQ5 and sold it for $13k less than I bought it for 28 months ago.

A couple of things.....
1. The one thing you really need to do to make your car sellable is return the downpipes to stock. This is one thing on your car that will actually decrease the value and make it near impossible to trade or sell to carmax, any dealer as well as most private parties. Other than that your mods won't hurt resale.
2. Have you driven the RS6 or RS7? They drive big, and you feel it. I had a highly modded C7 S6 with RS levels of power and it still felt big and hefty and that is my biggest reason for ordering the RS5 and not an RS6/7. I would actually take an M5 before an RS6 or 7.

Subscribed to see how things turn out for you. I can understand the pull of the RS6...count me in as someone who REALLY loves the RS6. However, I can confirm what wblaudi says, the C8s drive big as our other car is a '21 A6 Allroad (https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/934090-2021-A6-Allroad-Build-Thread). We bought it last summer as a replacement for a B8.5 A4 Allroad (heavily modded). The larger nature of the C8 platform was immediately noticeable. I've added an ABT AEC piggy back system that pushed HP/Torque to the low (very low) 400s. Not quite the juice of the RS6 of course, but still decent for the platform. I also dropped it with a CETE module and put on some bigger sway bars to mitigate body roll. The Allroad still drives noticeably larger. I'm sure the RS6 with its twin turbo V8 power and RS suspension will be tighter. However, the footprint is larger and there is no way to change that.
All of which is subjective and may not matter to you. I just love our RS5 and the visceral joy I get from driving it is wonderful. And that is only driving on public roads and never really pushing the car to it's limits. My dream car though is the RS6 even if it drives bigger than the RS5. All of which is moot as the RS6 is not in the budget...unless the lottery ticket in my wallet pays off. I'm sure it will....LOL.
