WOW! night and day difference! j/k I dint notice any difference at all, except that my car was alot more quiet but thats because my fan clutch was noisy and my belts were shot, which I replaced. The only way I'd say anyone should do this is if you need a new fan clutch cuz the prices of the EFK and a new fan clutch are pretty similar.

Haha, good review. The EFK has always been one of those controvercial mods, a la; intake, IM spacer, etc.

It's supposed to lower IAT's by reducing the "heat sink" effect of the intake mani. This is one of those mods people love to debate. If I had an extra $60 to spare, I would personally get one.

I have one in my car and I did notice 2 things


1. it took a little longer for the IAT's to get to the same temps and lowered a little quicker.

2. Oil temps increased which is most likely caused by an increase of cylinder head temps.

mike, do you think your cooling system could be slacking if it couldnt take up the extra heat from losing the IM as a heat sink?

i know your car makes a lot more heat than stock and k04 cars. i noticed no difference in engine temps, only IAT's lowered.

How does my car make more heat? I was talking about just normal driving at 15psi of boost which has lower IAT's then any other BT plus my car doesn't have an AC core in front of the radiator.
