Re-posted as I posted in the wrong section.

Okay, I got my OBD 11 a couple of days ago and finally got up the nerve to use it. I knew I would have problems setting it up, connecting and understanding how to use it. And, I was right. What comes easy to many of you, was a pain in the poop for me. I was also afraid I would mess up OBD 2 with the press of one wrong button, but thank God that did not happen.

The only changes I made was to shut off seat belt alarm and to add "acceleration measurements". Thank you to those that posted those instructions. My OBD 11 performed a little different than some others reported. I did not have to open my hood, oil level was not displayed, and it showed up immediately after uploading.

Okay, now for the numbers. I ran three (3) consecutive 0-100 km/h of 3.4 seconds.. Acceleration measurements only shows tenths, so 3.4 could be 3.4 or 3.49. I thought it fair it use 3.45 when converting it to 0-60 times. Which gives me a 0-60 time of 3.33. Needless to say I am very surprised and absolutely delighted!!

I am expecting to hear how inaccurate these onboard time keepers are, and that if you want a real number you, have to have a "draggy". Well, I do not have a draggy, nor am I buying one. And, others will point out that some youtube videos showed the acceleration measurements to be within 1/10th of the draggy. Whatever..... these are my numbers and if correct, it would result in a 1/4 mile time of approx. 11.5's. BTW my car is 100% stock.

I am glad that you got the functions enabled without issues. Once you used it a few times, you won't feel the way you did.

You didn't have to open the hood for the adaptation; that is interesting.

I have not "launched" my car yet, but from what you are describing, this car is pretty fast!

Yes, and thank you again for your help with this. I was, and still am quite paranoid about the whole process. I keep going out to the car to start it, and make sure no dash warning lights are on. :) Now that I am looking so closely, I noticed that the yellow Audi "pre sense" warning light stays on a bit longer than all the other lights, but this may have always been that way??

I know many believe the "acceleration measurement" numbers are not very accurate. Some think they are off by 1/10th, showing a quicker time than what it is actually doing, when compared to a "draggy". I have no way of knowing so I just reported the numbers I got. I have seen a couple of 3.4' on stock cars with the draggy, so if you add 1/10th to my 3.33, I am in that range.

thanks again,
dal

I enabled the acceleration measurements and also have a draggy but since car only has about 400 miles on it havent launched yet but once I have a few more miles will try and and compare the two

Will get driving it soon. Right now it's in shop getting some mods done. Milltek Semi resonated exhaust, AWE Cold Air intake and a exhaust valve controller. Going to do these things and then see about tuning.

I like that you can remove lid for better breathing and turbo sound
