still working on powering up my compass mirror in my 97. the wires are in place from the mirror/windshield, but i still don't know how to connect the power (pin #1) to the fuse box. i figure fuse #27 (rear wiper for avant) would be a good place to tap since it's ignition dept.

how do i connect to this fuse? i've seen other use male molex connectors, but can not find a part # or how to actually connect to the fuse. do i have to remove the fuse box?

another way? i'd like to keep the clean lines/organized way of a molex connector, but can't find a source w/ part #s. (motech which was in the archives in huntington beach, ca- can't find a part # or phone # to them. plus, wouldn't be much help by stating male molex connector in red and brown w/o any dimensions, etc).

plus, what about the ground (pin #2)? i'd rather not just put it around a screw as it's not an elegant solution.

thx in advance.

why dont you just tap the 75x post?? that is the ignition..

and use the ground bolt near the fuse box..

thanks- good idea.

i've seen the 75x, but haven't seen the ground bolt. do you have a picture of exact description of what it looks like?
