I looked for instructions on how to remove the regular badges (not the grille), but couldn't find any results. Are all of the ones at the rear, and the side badges just glued on?
I would consult the repair manual, but I swear they must not exist. At least not a hard copy of one.
I'm asking, as I'd like to plasti-dip them, and there isn't a big enough gap around all of them to work properly with that. Or replace them, but either way I need to take them off.

Heat gun and some floss, or plastic body removal tools will do the trick. I just replaced my chrome ones with gloss black that I picked up about 2 days ago.

I used a razor blade but carefully to not cut the paint. You just need to get the plastic pieces off, then I used goo gone and some soft plastic to scrape off the glue stuff.
There's also a guy on ebay that sells exact replacements that are blacked out. I bought the side supercharger logo, the rear audi logo and the rear s4 logo. Theyre good quality and so far they've remained stuck on for over a year.

I’d suggest going the route of replacing them over plastidip. Or maybe painting them as you are removing them anyhow. I dipped mine. It was ok. But eventually they will peel. Black ones can be had on eBay fairly cheap

Thanks, all. Some are bolted into things, and I didn’t want to damage anything. Hair dryer and floss it is.

Buy the 3m adhesive wheel eraser for $30, it was fantastic to remove the residue very quickly

agreed. that and some goo gone for any remaining residue worked well for me when I replaced my rear license plate bracket.
