I’m reposting for sale. Motivated to sell because I need an SUV.
This car is a beauty! Currently around 35,800 miles.Currently has the Quattro aftermarket Audi grille but I still have the stock S4 grille and can swap out if requested. Comes with all the necessary packages. S Sport package, Navigation package, Fine Nappa leather interior and the 19” wheel package. Also has Carbon Inlays in the interior, the Audi Beam ring lights and weather tech all season floor mats. This car was detailed yearly and the back seats were hardly used. Always garaged and maintained only at the local Audi Grand Rapids dealership. Purchased from Audi birmingham, 30k mile service was just completed. Car is still under factory warranty. This car has an accident on the title because of a pothole that broke a rim and damaged some side trim. I took the car to a Audi certified body shop and had everything replaced with OEM parts. I claimed this on insurance and that is why there is a claim. Car has minor rock chips, some road rash on the front left rim but besides that condition is great. Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Willing to sort out shipping if necessary. Price is 32,900 Firm

Greetings seller, this is a beautiful car. So, I will asks respectfully, and since 95% of changed front grills on vehicles less than 5 years old are done because of some sort of damage or accident to the front, is this a case that is in that 95%? Please be honest and forthwith in your answer, and by no means is this an accusation. The asking price is relatively good compared to similar mileage listings on CarGuru's

I have no affiliation here, but I think the “95% of grills are replaced because of accident” is an overestimate. Lots of people without the BO package like the look of a BO or RS style grill. He also claims he has the stock grill which would make me think it wasn’t replaced due to damage. Just my $0.02.

It was the first thing I did to the car when I got it. It was not replaced because of any sort of damage or accident. I still have the original grille in perfect condition for anyone that wants. Thanks for the questions although I do think 95% is a grossly overestimated figure. Lots of people prefer the look of the RS grille and I thought it was a common mod done.

I can appreciate your thoughts and fully understand of how this can seem as an overstatement. Please consider that you are an enthusiast, thus to you modifications are more of a norm. But to the masses, modifications are unordinary by a large margin. Also, please consider I limited the assessment to "vehicles less then 5 years old," and I also said "some sort of damage or accident." And lastly, I am an officer of a firm that complies and provides data to underwriters and consults actuaries. There is high confidence of at least a 90% figure of my statement according to my firm.
Again, this is not an inference nor accusation that the grille was replaced due to damage or accident. This is Audifans and can very much be in the 5-10% of those who choose to change it for whatever other reason. I am just asking if that is the case, and giving my reasoning for why I am asking.

Its cool. I'm not sure that the feeling of the 90 or 95% figure being an overstatement is actually a question of its merit or enthusiasts not having much of a realization or the awareness of how small the community actually is. Consider yourself unique
Thanks for the answer, and again it's a beautiful car and a fair asking

I understand where you are coming from but I don’t think the question has any merit because this is a unique car. If this was a more average model I think your question would be much more merited but because this is an enthusiast specific car I really don’t think it is. I’m no expert but I’d assume those statistics are from more basic non enthusiast focused vehicles. I wouldn’t think those statistics apply to an enthusiast specific car. Although I appreciate the input.

Well, realistically, "the masses" wouldn't be trawling classifieds sections on forums and signing up to see photo and communicate. They'd be ringing up a dealer or, at most, check autotrader/cargurus/cars.com/etc.

I’d say that’s a pretty fair asking price - GLWS!

Not sure where you get your data from but that is completely incorrect. Especially for enthusiasts who OFTEN swap grills for an RS piece.
Matter of fact, I have an RS grille sitting in my garage to be installed soon. No accident.

My statement is clearly explained above. And because it does not apply to you certainly does not mean that it is 'completely incorrect'.

Most enthusiasts who buy the S4 end up changing the front grill to the rs style. Period.

Lol. Says you.
The seller writes he has the stock grill in the same exact sentence he mentioned the aftermarket grill.
From that, one could infer it was an enthusiast upgrade, not an accident.

Is this car still for sale, or has this turned into a meaningless discussion thread? [emoji3]
