Hey guys,
So I got a remap done, company sent me a buggered file, and bricked my ECU.
Sent my ECU to a local tuner to fix it and he said it's the worst bricked ECU he's ever seen and he can't get it recovered. And he does this for a living.
SO looks like I'll be needing to replace it with a 2nd hand ECU.
What issues will I run in with immobiliser etc? My tuner said he can reprogram the new one no problem but will he need my cluster as well to program the ECU to the immobiliser? He's a 2 hour drive from me so obviously can't take the car there. Not sure if shipping the cluster to him would be an option..?
Any ideas?
