I've only had these rotors for about 14,000 miles and my brakes will not stop squealing. Changed pads and turned rotors and the same squeal comes back within 24 hours. Brake quiet is used and they are cleaned after mounting. I'm under the impression a hairline crack will not be visible. I seriously cannot get the squeal to go away. Rotors are in spec and pads are brand new, yet everything sounds like a set of brakes in need of replacement. [headbang]

Cracking is MOST unusual, and you will normally be able to see it if it fills with brake dust.
The noise is caused by pad vibration. The brake squeal stuff is usually pretty good, but you need to spread a lot on the pad and let it set up for about 15 minutes until it is tacky to the touch.
Check the spring on the outside of the caliper, it must touch the pad.
