So I saw this:
https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi_2018_TT-RS/Audi-Sport-Performance-Brake-Pads---Steel-Brakes/95992093/ZAW073910ADSP.html

Lucky I can pick these up from Audi Fremont on my way to 034MotorSports for $998.44. Save on all that shipping.

They don't look like they are made of gold... hmmmm...

Gold might be a bit too melty for brake pads[:D]

Just fronts and really there are plenty of aftermarket options which will perform better for way less cost, half at least. For example input the TTRS into Carbotech's site and they'll contact you with a vendor that can get you any of their huge variety of pads that will perform as well/better or that are totally suited to your use type for considerably less:

https://ctbrakes.com/

I even sell the Audi Sport Performance items and the cost on the pads is even sillier than some of their other items with what is available aftermarket.

Audi fronts require 8 separate pads. Ferodo 1.1 are just over $400 per box and you use 2 boxes. Big reason why I moved on to AP Racing calipers.

I do however have a set of oem (essentially new) and a set of Ferodo 1.1 (track 70% remaining) pads that I'd sell cheap !

!

I got a full front set for stock calipers of G-Loc R12s for $399............not sure yet about wear as only have 2 track days and less than 1000 road miles on them, but they stop pretty solidly and zero fade. For $1000 those things should come with a hooker who installs them and cooks dinner. lol
