View Full Version : Ebay SS Installed Last Night

It took me about 2 hours. Mainly because I have a 96 and I don't have a shifter plate that comes off. The two front nuts were a PITA.

It works great. Best mod for the money ($40). I used the B&M instructions and they were easy to follow. I also referred to Poopie's write-up when I was trying to remove the ball. I installed it with out the push-down reverse and love it.

Here's a pic. Props to Poopie (It feels weird saying that) for the shift boot also.

Yea, I'll probably be going with Ebay. With everything I've read I just can't justify the money for a name brand.

im excited, i just finished ordering the exact shifter poopie has, literally 2 minutes ago. it was kinda scary though, because ive never ordered anything off of ebay, and it was ridiculously easy, meaning i might be spending more time over there!!!

oh im not bragging, just scared because i could see myself getting addicted. btw, why does it post some replys twice? is it something i did or is there a glitch?

Yeah, not everything on eBay works out this well.
