Been experiencing a slight misfire and figured I'd utilize my ie software and data log. Now have all this info in excel format and no clue what it means other than my cars pulling some serious timing. I've contacted ie to see if they'd read it but until then how do I get this info into line graph form?

Ok figured it out... what do you guys need for a snap shot to help diagnose my baby?

Upload the CSV file to datazap and post the link here (just copy and paste from the web browser address). That will let us check everything out.

Ok so I downloaded datazap and got all the data on their graph which is an awesome tool! Don't know if other companies offer datapogging with their tunes, but another plus for ie. That being said what an ugly spark advance chart. Definitely misfiring. What do you guys see?

What fuel are you running? The timing isn't great, and eventually makes its way up to about 18 degrees, but pulling 4 or 5 degrees isn't terrible, especially if you are running a 91 tune.
HPFP looks fine, LPFP looks OK.
Other part that looks a little off is the car for a large part of that pull is opening the bypass a fair amount in response to the boost request being reduced. I don't know if this is the result of a torque limit in the ECU or not, but usually at higher RPM it isn't a problem.
Plugs and everything relatively new, have you checked for any leaking intercooler, etc.?

What mods have been done to the car, what tune/map is this, what fuel?

Running ie stage 1 93, cai, and ecs mid pipe. That's it for performance mods. Spark plugs 1yr or so old with the nkg replacements gapped to .28. Have been thinking cats may need to be replaced recently because of increased eggy smell. Could this be the cause?

No abnormal antifreeze lose, however i did notice green spots in the snow a couple weeks ago when sitting for a couple hrs. My antifreeze is orange in color (yes i know typical antifreeze is green which raised an eyebrow) but would the orange still appear green when leaking?
Been reading a couple posts on super charger intercooler lately... how would I diagnose if one was leaking? May be of note car has 130k

Yeah, at 130k probably due for a carbon cleaning if it hasn't been done and that may help aome. And no, the coolant should be a pink/violet color and isn't going to change.
Green could be ATF if it's an auto. I think the DSG fluid is a green color, but not sure as the SQ5 has the ZF 8 speed trans...which to be fair is also green.
Easiest way to tell if an intercooler is leaking is to pull the charger off and look at the intake ports and see if they are gunked up.
Put some fresh plugs with correct gap of they havent been done in a while.

Are you getting a misfire code? Is it related to a single cylinder or one row of cylinders? Is misfire is one side only could be one cat fail premature.
Eggy smell probably means cats. A way to check is one of those cheapo amazon boroscopes down the o2 sensor hole. Goodluck

Had a random misfire code a couple months ago cleared codes and it hasn't come back. Even though the cars misfire has remained the same... it is very subtle and you wouldn't even know it happened if you weren't 8ntune with your car.
I was just curious if my data log showed anything concerning.

don't wanna sidetrack the thread too much. just curious if anyone knows if those of us with APR tunes can data log with the 034/IE adapter. I have a vagcom but it seems that it can't pull nearly the same amount of data.
