Hi I seen this PCV rebuild kit by RKX on Amazon for only $35 has anyone ever used this kit instead of actually replacing the entire PCV?

Eh idk. 95% of this job is in the labor. I wouldn't risk using a repair kit to save $70.
Also, I thought it was the housing that cracked usually? Wouldn't this not do anything to remedy that?

While I would and just have replaced the entire PCV with Genuine Audi. I have used his kits before for vacuum pump rebuilds and some other solutions that do not require an entire new part. His stuff is quality and he’s a good dude. Just putting that out there.

I I'm planning to replace/referb my pcv with that kit maybe this upcoming weekend.
I have quite some oil consumption so let's see if this helps... Sure hope so! 224546

Part of the concern is that many times the PCV failure is coolant passages cracking internally, which wouldn't be fixed with the valve rebuild kit, so I would agree it is better to replace the whole part, as the likelihood that you would be in there fixing it again without a lot of runtime is high.
