400x38 S6 front upgrade for TDI

So one of the things that I disliked about my car ever since I got it were the brakes. Had some major work completed on the car, so it’s time for some upgrades. Sources all the parts for the front brake swap except dust shields. Debating if I actually need them... Anyone on here done a similar upgrade on a TDI? (330mm original brakes)
