Haven't really seen any new threads or posts on the tune2air or a2dp4audi bluetooth audio streaming products and was curious if there are still connectivity or skipping issues with the iphone 11/12 or current IOS. In the older threads, people had success in resolving many issues by disconnecting the MMI bluetooth, but was wondering if current iphone software allows connection to both the MMI and tune2air without issues. Thanks!

I think it’s more about the iPhone than the BT audio setup. I haven’t used mine in a long time. I’ll try it and let you know. I don’t have T2A. I have a USB wireless stick and an AMI connector with USB and 3.5mm audio cable.

I just used my wireless USB through the AMI connection today to stream some songs from my iPhone and had no skipping. iPhone 11 with IOS 14.4 installed. The phone was also connected to the BT for the telephone functionality. I only listened for about 10 minutes, but that was plenty of time to hear skipping in the past. YRMV.
Tune2Air with an iPhone 7 (yes, seven). Skips occasionally -- seems to come and go. I can go a couple weeks w/o any skips and then have 5 skips in an hour. Most of the time it works great.

Which IOS on the 7? I didn't use my phone long enough to know if the model iPhone and IOS both come into play here. Before my 11 I had a 5SE and there was quite a bit more skipping than you are having.

I too have an iPhone 7 w/iOS 14.3 and Tune2Air on a 2011S4. Haven't noticed any skipping but I primarily use Sirius for music and the iPhone for listening to podcasts. One issue I've noticed is that ever since iOS 12 or 13, traffic reports from the Waze app are clipped at the beginning of the announcement. For example, instead of hearing "Police reported ahead", what I'll hear instead is "reported ahead". I have to look at the screen to see if there's a cop icon showing or something else, e.g., construction, roadkill, pothole, etc. Frustrating, and pretty sure it's related to the phone. I can live with it.
