So I have what seems to be a different convertible top issue than most. Based on the 14 step process my top gets to step 7 where the top cover lifts up. Unfortunately once the cover lifts all the way up hydraulically it then proceeds to fall back down under it's own weight at the same time the top starts to stow. Sometimes the top will meet the top cover halfway and the whole shebang stalls out. However if the top cover falls back down onto the locks before the top hits it then I can press down on the top switch and the top will complete the closing operation. Any ideas whats going on with the top cover not staying up?
