I've got a cold-start chirp coming from the passenger side accessories, and I think I've narrowed it down to the alternator pulley (which is of the over-riding type). This seems to be a pretty common item for most VW/Audis, but I can't seem to find many options listed for our specific vehicle. FCP Euro and ECS both don't list anything for the pre-2013 (Bosch?) alternator. So, I'm wondering if anyone can confirm the OE part number, and/or direct me to what other applications I can search for that'll be compatible. Any help would be much appreciated!!

Looking at audipartssupply.com for a 2012 S4, Alternator Pulley is 06E-903-119-Q. Here is a link, should have a list of compatible models as well.

I'm not familiar with that site. Do you trust them over FCP and ECS in terms of listing correct applications? Everything I've seen differentiates between 2013+ and pre-2013. The link you provided appears to list that pulley for 2010 thru 2017...[emoji1745]

I believe that site is operated by Audi Manhattan, you could always give them a call to see. That being said, while I order most of my stuff from FCP, I have friends who have ordered numerous parts through them without any issues. I didn't spend a whole lot of time cross referencing between models/years, but shouldn't be too hard to confirm.

I was going to say that I'd probably just get another used alternator, they seem to be a lot cheaper than a pulley. If it's also bad, you can just return it if, say, you bought it from eBay

parts page shows the B8.0 A4/S4 CCBA having a 150A Valeo, part number 06E 903 016 S. Is that not what you have on your engine?
As already noted, the part number for the decoupling pulley for that alternator is 06E 903 119 Q.
The B8.5 A4/S4 3.0T shows a Bosch and a Valeo for the 3.0T. PR code 9G2 is Bosch 100-150A, PR code 9G3 is Valeo 120-180A. I doubt a NAR spec B8.5 is using that low output Bosch.
That B8.5 Valeo uses the same pulley part number as the B8.0 Valeo.

There are a ton of aftermarket analogues listed. I bought an INA/Luk, iirc For you, theirs would be part numbers 535020700 / 535020710 / 535020720 / 535020730.
The Febi analogue is Febi part number 43786, seeing as the ECS listing is "out of stock for two months" and you'll have to look elsewhere.
