Have a 2013 Audi S6, roc-euro intake, everything else is stock. Looking to get a stage 1 ECU tune..

Should I go Eurocharged or APR? The guy at eurocharged says he won't void my warranty and everything will be covered under my third-party warranty. Not so sure about APR.. But power/tune wise, who would be better? anyone with experience/numbers?
I will also probably get APR's TCU tune.

why? aside from the features it offers. Does it put out more power?

I hold the fastest time in North America for the s6. I'd say yes lol

I'm stage 4 now. I don't believe in dynos that's for marketing. I believe in real world results

While that alone is a mike drop, add DS’s responsiveness, support for the 4.0TT, wireless interface, great OTS tunes, and ongoing development with additional performance upgrades including SRM and others.

Not familiar with the other companies but I went APR Stage I and love it. Even better that their prices came down although I don't see the TCU tune on their site any longer.

I don't have numbers to report. I don't care about 0-60 times. It's a 4,000lb saloon DD. I care about how it feels and reliability. FYI - I spoke with an Audi dealer and they said it wouldn't affect my Audi Care package but can't comment on 3rd party warranties.

Search a little... Read a LOT more. Then post. There must be five years of content on a Stage 1 tune that has been covered in this forum.

Go spend some time on that "intake" topic too.

LOL! To be fair, he only asked for a "Stage 1" tune. Let's give it some time for him to figure out what it takes to get to Stage 2.

I only asked for stage 1 because I don’t plan on getting downpipes to get stage 2...

DS1 1000 times over. They have a thread over in the V8TT section. The tune is awesome STG1 on my buddies car, their customer service is A++++ :)

APR website still has TCU tune for DL501 transmission.

If DS1 was offered for the 3.0t, I would have done them instead of APR.[up]

For what it's worth, after reading many threads by frequent AZ posters my sense is that for an S6 going to stage3+/stage4/custom tune/ethanol then DS1 is the clearly preferred option. However, for someone who is certain about only wanting an "off the shelf" stage 1, then the performance differences among the top products are minor and cost/convenience should strongly factor into the decision (e.g., APR is relatively inexpensive but DS1 is more convenient). You might get a sense of this from the quarter mile database thread, post #1, and look at the spreadsheet of various submitted track times.

quick question guys is it possible to run a stage two tune with just intakes no downpipes

On DS1? That is the formula.

To re-qualify:

1.) What type of "intakes?" Consider the full tract, right up to the compressor flange.
2.) Have you read the DS1 changelogs, lately?
