JACKAL

I’ve been getting an intermittent P0240 code which can be related to the MAP sensor. My code was for sensor B, which I believe to be the driver side cylinder bank. I thought as a simple means of checking this, I would just swap it with the passenger side MAP sensor and see if the code followed. At that point I could replace the sensor. I am guessing these are the original sensors and perhaps age and temperature have weakened the material but my 5 minute swap turned into a much bigger job than I planned as the O-ring and cage broke off the sensor body and lodged in the supercharger. Now I could possibly have dislodged the broken part of sensor and O-ring without removing the supercharger, but I did not want to risk pushing the parts in while I was trying to remove them and dropping something into the intake manifold. I’m currently waiting on new sensors and intake gaskets, but the nice thing of this is that I had a chance to see how much my water-meth kit has improved the cleanliness of my intake.
Below are some pictures of my intake valves from the last time I had the supercharger off when I had an intercooler leak, and I will post pictures of how they look now tomorrow when I get my borescope, but I can tell you there is a phenomenal improvement. Just look at the intake of the supercharger:

SUPERCHARGER INLET AFTER WATER METH INJECTION
For those wondering what is so special about this, the inlet is typically pretty oily and dirty looking
