Audi S4 B8.5 with round front fog lights?

Hey all! I’m in the market for a B8 S4 and ran across this listing:

It looks to be a B8.5 which is actually a bonus and still in my price range. However, it seems a bit odd that the listing claims no mods when clearly the shift knob and front grille are changed. Everything looks correct for a B8.5, but the front fogs are round instead of the strip. I did a quick search and could not find any B8.5s with front fogs like these which really confuses me. Anyone know if there was a short period where the B8.5s were made with round fogs? Or is this an aftermarket front bumper?

Link not working, but if it is the '13 listed for $ 14850, it has an aftermarket bumper on it ( maybe caractere? ). BTW- for 12k, there is a steal of a car listed in AZ classifieds, a super clean and modded '12 6 MT with lower mileage.

If someone spent the time and money to upgrade to that bumper, I would be shocked if the car was not also tuned at some point in it's life.

Looks clean.
Kind of high mileage if you ask me - but priced accordingly.
The front bumper and grill are aftermarket... so as noted above - the ad is already false in stating it's never been modified. All else does look stock. It wouldn't deter me from looking further at the car.
Wow - these cars are dirt cheap now! LOL... I paid 60k for mine new - albeit almost 10 years ago...

Thanks for the help all! It does look like the charactere front bumper currently being sold on the famous auction site. Even though it looks super clean, I'm always wary about people claiming a car is stock when it isn't. Either they genuinely don't know and wouldn't have known if the car was modded in other ways before or they are trying to pass it off as stock.

In any case, I ended up comitting to another S4--a 2011 B8 Premium Plus with higher mileage but quite a bit cheaper. It doesn't have any of the prestige options which would be nice but it's a one owner car who really cared for it and had it serviced at the same Audi dealership for it's entire life. Considering my somewhat limited budget, I'd rather trade impeccable maintenance history over some convenience options. Looking forward to joining the S4 club!

B8.5 has way better dsg reliability. With the B8 it is a ticking time bomb no matter how good the owner took car of it. Better have 4-5k in the savings just in case.

Thanks for the heads up. The owner actually had the transmission replaced by Audi. That is another big reason for wanting to go for it.
