View Full Version : Could Dragy have made a mistake?

A week ago, I took my car out for a quick Dragy 0-60 test. I have been hitting mid 4s constantly since I got tuned, but this time around Dragy claims I got a 4.2. While I would love for my car to have logged a 4.2 0-60, I don't think its realistically possible. I am just APR stage 1 (complete mod list in my signature below). The battery was low on the Dragy at the time of the test, so I am wondering if Dragy could've made a mistake? The graphs look off too.

Check out the picture below and lmk what your thoughts are...

For some additional context, I took the car out the same evening at a different location (with Dragy plugged in to it's charger) and ran a 4.55 (with one additional person in the car and a similar amount of fuel).

I’d expect low 4’s out of stage 1 if you’re engaging amax, so it certainly does not seem out of the question. Any chance you didn’t engage amax on previous runs but did on this one? Other than that your graph looks choppy but purely based on numbers it doesn’t seem out of whack.

Both runs were in "M" for the transmission, with traction off pressed one time, and with a little bit of brake boosting (like 1,500 RPM launch).

What is the official process for engaging amax mode?

Yeah the acceleration(g) graph on that first run looks strange...up and down all over the place.
Even near the end of the run it is spiking to like 1.25g's! and I assume you weren't hit in the rear by a Mack truck at the end of your run. [;)]

I’ve had some of mine with spiky graphs too, I believe the dray has a built in accelerometer so if it was shifting around that could be part of the issue. Few off the dash one of my early launches and showed a super high g force too

That’s pretty much it, dynamic, s or m mode, esc off, I turn off ac if on, wheel straight, brake boost and go. You’ll feel a noticeable difference in 1-2 and 2-3 shift. I found it to be worth about 1/2 second at single pulley

The Dragy was attached to my dash. Its movement was negligible if any.

Yeah graph definitely looks odd then. Dragy will invalidate runs with poor satellite signal, but with low battery who knows. I’d suggest charging it up and making a few more runs for science.

Yes, there is def appears to be something wrong with your first graph. Your second run looks the way it should.
Like someone mentioned above, the most logical guess is some movement with your Dragy unit on that first one based on the choppy acceleration and speed. Some of the quickest runs on here don't hit those G forces!
