Water deflector under wiper arms removal help

So I am replacing my clutch line and step 4 is

REMOVE THE WATER DEFLECTOR
• Four clips along bottom edge
• Top edge pulls out of plastic channel at base of
windshield

I have removed the clips and now have pulled and even pried that plastic piece up and can't move this deflector even a little bit. I searched all over the web and can't find anything on it, so I figure this is the easiest thing ever except for me.

Any help? I have a 2014 S5, but that deflector should be the same as an S4 or A4 for that matter.

Got it. Seemed to work best for me if I started on the passenger side corner. Thanks.
