DMP 10.25” screen install question

Hi everyone,

I have a question for anyone that’s done a DMP high spec install (or maybe RSNAV, might be the same), and apologize in advance for the newb questions, I haven’t messed with car entertainment stuff in a while. My questions are what cable did you use to connect the MMI cable to the screen harness, and what connection of the harness did you use? I think I’m missing a cable so I need to know what to get. It looks like a simple 3.5 cable but I’m not sure. In the attached pictures I have the MMI cable, and the second picture is where I think it should plug into the screen harness. Is this right? Any help is appreciated

I don’t have the high spec, but the cable you are showing is for an Aux input, it goes in your glovebox.

iirc the cable that plugs into the screen is small And comes from a plug and play connector further down stream, like disconnect a factory connector and place the new connector in line. Been awhile since I installed mine tho.... there is a good YouTube of the install by DMP of the high spec...

Yeah, I researched a couple of videos, I think this is the one you're talking about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVLIptUdd6c. Unfortunately he completely forgets about this connection until the end, and then rushes through it. Its the cable he's holding around the 9:42 mark. The one end that plugs into the MMI cable in the glove box (in the aux), definitely looks like a 3.5 mm jack. I just don't know what the other end is, and where it plugs into the harness at. I've got it narrowed down to either a 3.5 mm jack that is unmarked, or it might be RCA inputs marked L and R, so a 3.5 mm to RCA cable.
