Alright got a question, I have the CPO warranty, and I’m about to add a third party warranty since mines factory warranty is coming to an end in a few months, has anyone had issues with getting declined warranty work because of the flash? Being TD1 ?

If you have a problem linked to the motor or drivetrain, and they scan the car you should expect the warranty company to deny coverage.
Be pleasantly surprised if they don't.
I doubt you'd have a problem if your nav screen stops working and the car is tuned.

3rd party warranties do not typically have the ability to know what software is on your ecu. there is no such thing as a 3rd party TD1'ing your car.

If the shop voluntarily informs the warranty company of your tune, you can assume no coverage. whether is be engine, drive train, or suspension....the warranty will argue all of these parts have more stress due to added power.

What 3rd party warranty are you using? I have six months left on my factory warranty and am considering adding a warranty.

Dude that's not to far from me.... If you have a adviser you deal with please let me know... ! :) When you say you had your motor replaced, was it under Audi warranty?

I'm going to buy the third party services from my audi dealer, in turn can be used at any dealer... "IAS" is what he said the name was. They mock the Audi Factory warranty.

I have the DS1 and I'm just worried about getting flagged and nothing getting covered. Just haven't flashed the car yet. I love my DS1 as I have it on my S6 and it worked like a charm.... But with the new RS... (new to me /2017) I don't know if i just want to wait another couple months to feel the new gains.
