Looking to buy a new set of OEM NGK plugs and the prices seem to vary quite a bit. I can get on Amazon for $65 and locally they’re around $85 out the door. Anyone know if any deals to bring the price closer to $65? Not a big deal either way but figured I’d ask. Thanks.

Also I don’t trust Amazon sellers, that’s why I choose not to buy from there. Too many Chinese knockoffs.

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkBuy them from FCP Euro and when the set you bought from them needs to be changed you can return them for a refund. It only costs you the shipping and once they get back the plugs they originally sold you they will credit you the cost of those plugs back.

Where are you seeing $48? On FCP Euro they are 12.99 each. Are you thinking for a 4 cylinder? Also 9.99 to ship spark plugs lol. Guess it’s still worth it though.

I have a set of OEM plugs that I used for three months and then went stage 2 APR. I would give them to you for the cost of shipping. (Probably like $5 ish)

Is there a need to run different plugs for stage 2 or dual pulley?

I've ran stock equivalent NGK PFR8S8EG laser platinum for 50k+ miles (changed once to be 25k miles each) while stage 2.

I just installed the crank pulley for DP and ordered a new set of the same plugs from FCP EURO...I was planning to install them this weekend. But if it's needed to go another step in heat range....

I simply went with what APR recommends for Stage 2.

It seems that each tuner recommends differently.

I've heard of counterfeit NGK plugs being sold on places like Amazon and RockAuto. Not sure how true that is or how likely you'd be to come across them, but when I bought sparkplugs I went through FCP to avoid any chance of that happening.

Gotcha, thought u were referring to the PFR8 NGKs that are recommended by most tuners.

Just a note with rockauto, there is always a 5% discount code. The active code is posted on many car forums. Just google it. I've used rockauto for many, many years. They do frequently have some of the best prices and a large variety of substitute parts (sometimes too many)

I emailed UniTronic and they recommended going heat range 9 for DP that I just installed.

So I have a new set of NGK PFR8S8EG laser platinum for sale if I can't return them.

PM coming.

Thanks for the link. I initially couldn't find them at FCPEURO.

I just ordered a set today and will be returning the NGK PFR8S8EG (2669) ...FCP FTW!

UniTronic suggests to use the NGK BKR9EIX gapped to 0.025" with their dual pulley
