Hi everyone, I am using the Oxygen Sensor Spacer (https://www.europaparts.com/oxygen-sensor-spacer-ultra-low-profile.html)from europarts below that is on Mertop Headers, but the bolt has come loose twice now. We have just tightened again with a 800 F loctite, which is the highest temperature one that we can find. I have sent an email to see if we can get a longer bolt so we can put a lock nut or something similar but haven't heard back yet.
Are there any other solutions that we can look at, other than replacing the whole spacer (this might have to be the final solution).

Have you tried tightening while hot?

Have you tried tightening while hot?
The mechanic has to fish around with his hands, to tighten because of the limited access. I don't think he will be keen to do that when the engine is hot.

One could likely do it with a cold engine. The exhaust heats up quickly.
Start car for 30 seconds or so and give it a quarter turn.
What about a few small dabs of muffler cement?

Jb weld if you want it to be permanent, the exhaust is going to be above 800f at the o2 sensor during some wot runs

Possible help:
1. Clean the exhaust mating surface for O2 sensor, banjo, and the metal component. (grease dirt may prevent proper friction)
2.Try some wave spring washers from McMaster? On mx bike forums they attribute banjo coming loose from a bad copper washer, but this doesnt have one. I was gonna suggest a spiral lock washer but without those components in hand I am not sure if it would seal the banjo bolt properly.
Good luck

Thanks these are great suggestions, I will be checking it again in around a month, so will let everyone know what we ended up doing.
