What do you think? Going to post this on the C8 page also.

There’s a video on YouTube of a stage 2 b8 beating a stage 2 (if I recall) b9.

Just so you know. The new 3.0 is a single turbo, not a bi-turbo.

Ah, maybe it's the 2.9 that's the bi-turbo?

Yup. And the 2.9 will toast the old SC.

Best it how? to 60mph? quarter mile?
If just looking at the numbers from APR.
3.0S/C Stage 1 = 458HP 387TQ
3.0T Stage 1 = 441HP 483TQ
That is an enormous amount of extra torque from the turbo vs. the s/c
Even if you max out the S/C to Stage 2+ the torque figure is still only at ~440 on 93 octane.
Even if the C8 weighs a couple hundred pounds more than a C7 that massive torque increase more than makes up for it.
And for giggles the 2.9TT Stage 1 at 493HP 553TQ !
If each turbo adds 70-100ft-lbs then I'll take a 3.0TTT with 660 ft-lbs of torque please. :)
But I'm more interested to see what the tuners pull out for the new 4.0T in the SQ7/SQ8/RS7/RS6 which at this point are surely to be the last V8's Porsche ever makes for Audi before the electric switch is flipped full on.

I can't seem to see APR #'s on their site for the new 3.0T. Is there a dyno graph you post a link to?

Stock for stock, according to what I was reading online. The C8 is 1/10 of a second slower in the quarter mile.

When Tuning turbo's make more power dollar for dollar spent and far more potential

When Tuning turbo's make more power dollar for dollar spent and far more potential

that depends on turbo size, its not nearly as easy to get more boost once you maxed out turbos. with the supercharged cars you can upgrade pulleys to get more and more boost . personally i doubt a stock turbo(v6 single or dual) with all bolt ons will be able to beat the 10.8 1/4 mile record on stock supercharger.

They haven't released for C8 yet, you have to look at the B9 to see potentially what is to come.

I bought the wife a ‘21 SQ7, I’m patiently waiting to see what our friends at Dyna Spectrum serve up.
