How does this come out? Is it just press fit? Every diy I’ve seen reference a bolt in the middle holding this flange in. Thanks everyone

Depends which diff it is. ETS/ETQ has side opening and bolted differential inside this has 2 bolts going through hub/stub axle holding them to the diff. The HUQ has a rear opening and I will look when home but I believe it’s a c clip type of thing that holds those hub/stub axles inside.
I just built a ETQ. If you can have a look at the tag (grey units often HUQ/black painted ETS/ETQ) might be able to help as both diffs are on my bench

Mine is gray and unpainted. I will check the code when I get home. Thank you!

The only part # I can find is 4460 340 060 b
Where might I find that 3 letter code?

From looking at pictures of all 3 diffs I can say with relative confidence that mine is the HUQ. Going off the diff body being square where the driveshaft is on the ets and etq, mine is rounded like the HUQ. Does this mean I need to open the diff to get at c clips inside of it?

I got in way latter then I wanted. I’ll get to it in a few hours today. But I think your correct with it being an internally connected style diff (just looking at the case). My huq is the same no bolts through the axles into the diff itself. If your trying to go LSD the HUQ does not work.

I’m just trying to replace the seals and stop a leak lol. I wish I was doing something as cool as an LSD
