I read its a 2 ohm. Just wondered if i could replace the paper speaker out of the trunk plastic enclosure and add a 2ohm speaker that has 200 watt rms? Anyone done this with stock amp? Just looking for better bass without breaking the bank. I notice the fluttering crap when i open the hatch.
Thanks

Replacing just the speaker wouldn't help, if you want more bass. You would be better off installing a separate amp along with an aftermarket woofer. The stock bose amp provides only around 50 watts and you wouldn't get any gains by replacing just the speaker only. A 200-300 watt rms system shouldn't be too expensive, you also could source the amp and the woofer second hand.
