Hi
Ive changed comfort seats heated and ventilated with memory, to rs7 heated with memory.
I got few problems now
Memory works ok but rs7 seats were from rhd car, so they dont have seat occupation mat in passenger seat, so i got airbag light. Is there option to decode that mat and make airbag work always? Or maybe different solution
Second problem is with heated seats, previous comfort seats got different wiring than rs7 seats. I think that i have to retrofit heated seats, anyone with tutorial how to retrofit heated seats in a6/a7 4g

This thread should help you a little. https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/808294-S6-Sport-Seats-into-A6-3-0-C7
Think your challenge may include the european version of seat sensor that dasquade posted in there. Using RHD in a LHD car might be a different set of challenges because the car probably assumes there's always a driver in the driver seat and you've reversed that.

Depending if the RS7 you bought it from had the gloovebox passenger airbag turn off switch, normally if it didn't the original passenger seat should already contain the sensor pad. You could take it out and swap it over to your current passenger seat, might be easier to just by second hand sensor so you only need to unwrap one seat (they are cheap second hand). Unwrapping the fabric of seat isn't that hard, just take your time and focus :).
Forgot, maybe the topic widebodyfx linked still contains the wiring details, i don't think heating wiring should be different across the two, carefully diagnose the current wires plug per plug (forgot but think red plug is all 'power related wires', yellow airbag, black sensors?).

I dont want to touch the leather, trying to find different solution with seat occupancy mat. Maybe ive found. In airbag vcds adaption there is option to disable seat occupancy sensor, will check that tomorrow.
Still there is a problem with heated seats
Heated seats in my previous comfort seats with ventilation and only in these seats, are operated through seat module by lin bus. Every other seats, heating is operated through green sockets and by climatronic module. I need a wiring diagram (tutorial) how to wire and code heated seats, and plug them to climatronic module

Hello! I have a 2018 rs7 performance and I found some s7 comfort seats. I also bought hvac control with buttons for heat and cool. Installed them. They only heat for maybe 10-16 seconds. All the adjustments work. Do I need to reprogram or flash the hvac control module? Also update MMI etc…? I have a good Audi programmer to help but he’d never done this before. Just put old hvac unit back and been driving as is with ventilated seats installed. Thanks! Gavin
Oh, I’m in the Washington DC/ Baltimore/northern Virginia area if anyone can recommend any MMI programming wizards too! Thanks again!

RSQ8 seats are cooled and massaged, what Audi does for full contour comfort seats is above and beyond cooling and massage functions.

I was under the impression the HVAC panel was component protected, not that it matters but the floor wiring is different when there is a seat module on both sides. In VCDS I remember comfort seats was a check box, seat module on both sides of contour seats means the passenger side seat module is not showing up unless you added the can wiring. Contour seats also have seat memory on both sides so the passenger side door trim is missing the memory buttons.
I've seen 3 ways the cars are wired. Black for safety in all cases, yellow for seat airbag in all cases, red for power and canbus in all cases, green for seat heat is the differences in how the cabin harness is done.
Standard (basic heat including sport seats) - floor connection has 1 green connector on both sides, seat module and seat memory only on the driver side
Cooled seats (think A series seats with cooling) - floor connection only has 1 green connector on the passenger side, only a seat module on the driver side
Contour seats (massage set ups) - no green connector on either side, seat module handles the seat heat functions and there is a seat module on both sides
