I m thinking to buy DS1 + Boosted Euro TCU.
Any comment / feedback?

Also what air intake do you recommend ? I like to eat turbo spool :-)

No TCU needed just ECU tune it and enjoy.
'18 RS7 Performance I nailed a 10.808 @ 128.7 MPH on pump 93 ECU only.

Noferatu - NICEE!!! 16 RS7 here. SRM long-tubes in route, but currently w/ the setup listed in my signature. Pretty sold on a DS1 and was considering a tune for the zf8. More parts to come - just don't want to go crazy. I'm new to the whole RS7 platform - you recommend anything else as a must???

Exhaust for sound. Honestly the car is plenty quick as just a Stage 1. There's plenty of faster/lighter performance car platforms to mess around with IMO. If you still want to full send just do E85, downpipes, intake, and plus/minus a turbo swap and you'll have a rocket.

Just added the Boosted Euro DS1 + TCU tune last week.
I did the DS1 ECU tune first and added the TCU tune a few days later.
You don't "need" the TCU tune but the shifts are much smoother and the car is a little faster.
I bought a Dragy and although it was too slippery to do many real launches my 0-60 and 1/4 mile times were improved with the TCU tune.
I have not had the car to a drag strip which is closed due to Covid , and may not bother . I bought the Dragy to try to document the improvement with the tune.
I am not trying to squeeze every Hp out of the car and will probably stick with Stage 1 .
I am happy with the purchase and feel the TCU tune makes for a better driving experience .
YMMV

TCU tune will also raise the AMAX limit which plagued the ZF trans for the early RS7 track junkies. Melen and P3U are also ZF trans guys.

Same boat - just ordered a ZF8 TCU tune w/ my DS1. Already CTS intake, w/ some SRM long-tubes on the way, Eurowise Catless DPs and their in-house tune. Excited to switch to DS1 w/ TCU and record my before/after dragy results. Not going crazy w/ the fuel. We can only get 91 here w/out going to a race-fuel station like 20 miles from me (so not gonna happen). Anyone have any tips/tricks/lessons-learned for me?

No real tips or tricks. I am handier with a wrench than a computer , so I downloaded the DS1 step by step users manual as a word document .
I then had the document open on one screen while the other half was the actual DS1 download screen.
This literally takes you by the hand step by step, making it difficult to screw things up.
Make sure you have your home WiFi password handy, and the car is in a position to get a strong signal.
For the tcu tune I made sure I had Teamviewer downloaded on the laptop.
With the tcu, they do all the work after you connect.
Good Luck and enjoy driving what will feel like a new car!

WestCoastRS7 - Awesome and thank you. Even considering - while I'm in there installing the inlets - in retrospect, would it make sense to just swap in ported throttlebodies? I mean - entire R&R would be saved. Worth it? No real plans to even touch on stage 3 or a turbo swap (at this point) so maybe not worth the $?
