I recently bought A Audi RS7 2016 facelift from a very big and reputable Mercedes and BMW dealer. I’ve had the car for a week and on they week the cars rpm gauge gets stuck or does not work and the mph gauge does the same. Then when I press the break and gas at the same time the car sounds like a miss fire and then my police radar goes off... does this indicate there is a electrical problem? I’m taking it back to them but I know they will try to avoid fixing any thing.

Well not sure about your state but here in Connecticut used cars have 60 days or 3,000 mile warranty so if that's the case in your state as well and that's dictated by the state bring it back

Oh I’m bringing it back for sure for them to look at. But I’m wondering is is miss fire normal on these cars? Or electrical issues? Like my M6 always miss fired if the coils were not changed every 15k miles.

Misfires are never normal, scan it with obd 11 or vagcom and see what codes your car is throwing. Then at least you know what needs to be fixed

It would not be unheard of for the battery to be going bad already if it’s the original. Normally I would expect more life from a battery but it is 4 years old at this point. Audis do crazy shit when the battery gets old and weak.
Hopefully that is all it is but still take it in and let them diagnose it.

Will it still show me codes if my check engine light is not on?

Yes, some fault codes will not show a CEL - it needs to happen with a certain frequency and/or specific fault for a CEL to appear.
Always good practice to check for faults when you suspect something is wrong. Exactly what a dealer will also do.

If it is a miss fire would it most likely just be coils and plugs? Still also confused on why the mph and rpm gauge does not work.

these would all typically seem like unrelated issues, but....
the radar detector turning off correlating with a misfire, very weird and would make me think the person who installed it did a half assed job, which makes any problems possible.
is the misfire/radar detector a conincidence? repeatable? can you confirm its a misifre? or does it just sound like a misfire?
you clearly do have an electrical issue and parts on these cars are expensive. the cluster lists for $1600. plus, install, coding and security.
and, why are you pressing the brake and gas at the same time? are you in drive, neutral or park? you should not be doing it in park.
make sure your not confusing the pop/bangs when you let off the gas after revving in place with a misfire.

The radar is one that goes into the normal cigarette lighter. And I’m doing it in drive just barley pressing the gas while holding the break and radar turns on and off then kinda sounds like a miss fire

The misfire could be caused by multiple things. Always good to start with the codes to see which cylinder it is. Then, swap coil pack from a known good cylinder. If that resolves it, you know it’s a coil pack. If no, do the same with a known good spark plug from another cylinder.
I remember reading there is a TSB out there for a common cylinder 5 misfire. Pretty sure the TSB states to shim a valve to resolve the issue.
Absolutely no clue about the electrical issue. Hopefully there is a warranty and the dealership can figure it out

so lets eliminate the radar detector from the problems. unplug it until other problems are solved.
what are you doing then the tach and speedometer are "stuck"?
the needles stop at a certain rpm/speed and hang there?
or
they dont move at all?
does the car function properly while the dash is malfunctioning?
and confirm the misfire. sounding "kinda like a miss" might be nothing. scan the car.
do you feel a misfire when driving? misfires are typically noticed at idle and when under heavy load. normal driving they can sometimes be difficult to feel.

The gauge will stop working at times. Sometimes not work at all, Or they get stuck. When I go to turn the car on it won’t do the pry Audi dashboard sweep sometimes it will. On full throttle I don’t notice a misfire only when I try to break boost it or rev car really fast in N

You could be brake boosting incorrectly. With the ZF8 and in AMAX, it’s tough to get it exactly right... you could be holding down the brake for too long, causing AMAX to disengage.
I think we’d probably have to see/hear what you’re referencing to truly help. Sounds like you can replicate it often, so shouldn’t have a problem with the dealer not being able to see it.
Let’s see what type of codes you have.
