All right so I apologize for my dumb question here see a lot of people talking about our seven air boxes as they flow better than in A6 3.0l air box but how do you install it since it has two in pipes on it versus my one cuz I'm super charged?

Am i miss understanding?

Remove those double inlet pipes and use your existing ones. Take a closer look - there’s a tab to release, then rotate by a few degrees and it should come out from the airbox.

The stock air box and intake scoop are generally good enough already when it comes to airflow. There's a reason you don't see a whole lot of HP gains from changing your intake.

Stock box is bolt in, only have to cut the pre marked hole on the bottom of the box for the air tube. :) You can get the box new for under $250

Where are you finding them new for under $250? Last time I checked a few sources, they were $350+.

Not $250, but $300 from a reputable place.

Kind of a waste though on an A6 since the dual pipe cover and air filter is included and you would just toss that or if you could try to sell it to someone with an S6/RS7.
IIRC they want over $100 for that top cover alone and $35 for the filter, so unless you are sure you could sell them I don't know if I'd pay more than $165 for one for an A6.

When I bought mine, I did manage to sell the intake cover for $80 USD and the filter for $20 USD. Can't imagine there are too many buyers for the intake cover though!

I go mine for $249 shipped from an Audi Dealer :)
