I'm almost dying, I've just purchased 40 items in order to replace my pcv, thermostat and Intercooler and I've just realized that i bought just 3 upper and lower manifold gaskets... Yes, those little ones that cost like 2 or 6 dollars each, the big problem is that all the parts are coming to chile and buy the 6 missing (3 lower and 3 upper) will cost a lot considering an extra priority shipping and taxes...

So my question is, can I reuse the manifold gaskets? I'm almost thinking about punch me in the face because of this absolutely big error from myself 😔😔😔😔😔

People have mixed results with this. I took my supercharger off once w/o any issues reusing the gaskets but the second time I removed it, I had leak on the gasket set between the supercharger and the intake manifold. If you place a new gasket next to one of the used gaskets, you will see the new gasket is taller so the do settle/relax over time. It's kind of a gamble whether you will have an issue or not. Sorry there's not a better answer...

How many miles on the old ones? Do you not have an audi dealer nearby that can help get the parts for you?

Yes.. Maybe it will be not leaking... But if it does... It will require to change all of them plus the labor... I just can't believe that i missed those 6 little gaskets

42k milles, and yes theres some dealers and autoparts.. The big concern is for ine gasket that cost 1.9 dollars.. They are quoting me 11, same for the other one, ecs has it for 6 dollars and here they are quoting 21.. I know that it's their business.. But with those prices probably the best will be to use ECS with aeropost....

I'm thinking about buy the gaskets and buy also the waterpump, to replace it considering that the sc its out😭😭😭😭

Ouch 21 a piece is just ridiculous. They may help you out a little if you show them some price comparisons, can't hurt to at least call and ask and explain the situation.

I sympathize with your situation and am as frugal as they come. I understand why you don't want to overpay for a gasket or anything else. However, I have benefited from trying to take a long term view of such expenditures. I try to look at them as "investments." (i.e. would it cost me more to pay an extra $20 now for the parts [at a dealership] or pay $200 in labor later because of a ?? 40% ?? probability of gasket failure?).

I can tell you are hard on yourself -- like me -- for failing to foresee the need. Regardless, of what you decide, forgive yourself. [;)]
