Proper dipstick

It’s a 2018 2.0 q5

I don’t care if I have to trim the top of the handle , it’s what we did for my mother in laws a5 2015

It’s for my father in law , looking to get it for Xmas

ECS has dipsticks for the 2.0 b9 A4/A5 (https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-parts/billet-engine-oil-dipstick-black-anodized/018641ecs02-02~a/).

I believe they share the same engine withe the Q5 and should work. Although a gamble, I tried the same thing with the SQ5: I ordered their dipstick for the s4/s5 (same engine) and it works.

There isn't demand enough for ECS to verify. But it should work. You might try calling them and seeing if they're interested in having you test. I found someone in sales who was willing to guarantee a return if mine did not fit.

Won't the dealer /oem have a perfect fit as opposed to ecs??

Went to my local Audi dealer for comparison/ setup..* they were the same..*
1) set the top to 58
2) The acceptable range is 10 - 18*
