A7 Intake

Sorry if this has been covered, I did find a couple of contradictory posts but was wondering if there is a consensus on stock air box vs aftermarket. If it's stock box, what filter is everyone running? Thanks for any info.

Im running a custom built setup. bought a silicone throttle body hose for $80 on amazon, a dryflow filter, and a metal coupler to go in between them. Then built a headshield that mounts to the stock location for about $20 in home depot supplies (aluminum sheet, some screws, and rubber edging). i kept the stock tube that feeds air towards the intake but removed the box. unless youre going for big power, an intake wont do much for a daily driver besides sound so i went the save some money route.
