Quality excellent. Bolsters nice and beefy. Leather quality and perforation a dead match to the seats. Couldn't be happier.
I think I'm going to take on the install.
Only worried about the M12 bit which I need to locate, and airbag light trips on dash.
Other than that, looks straightforward.
Wish me luck.

Where did you find the M12 bit? Upon first glance I thought it was a large torx but was corrected by the guy behind the counter that it is a 12mm German axle removing bit, whatever that is....
I just got back from Autozone and Home Depot and they don't carry it. Trying to source it locally so I can knock out the install today. All I can think of is Harbor Freight which is about 40 miles out. I want to call them first but not quite sure how to identify the bit over the phone.
It is called a triple square bit.

Thanks for that. Bad news is all special order...none in stock. I'll try Pep boys.
At least I now know what to ask for. Thx!

Yep, check on the hooks too for M12 single size you need, they don't always have sets.

Yes! Pep Boys to the rescue....
Ended up borrowing one from a neighbor but yes, well worth buying the complete set from Amazon.
Thanks for the help.

Question is, should I splurge and get the set. This is my first Audi so I'm not sure where these are used. If they are rare fitements and I'm not really a mechanic, should I just get the single 12 and call it a day? Interesting that these bits are predominately used with VW, Porsche, Audi.
It is up to you, I believe the M10 is also used in some places around the car.

Seat rail bolts are M10 triple square so helpful to have that one. I used a T55 on the steering wheel without issue.

Yep, M10 is used all over the car- near the oil pan, on the brace struts, back of the exhaust, seat rails, and elsewhere. If you have any German cars, having a good set of triple square bits is important.

Wheel looks great. Congrats.
I recently ordered triple square set on amazon given advice from others here... seems those and torx are pretty common (which was the case with BMW) but I’m finding Audi to require I expand the tool chest!
