Driver side brake light not working

Hopefully I dont have to buy a new housing. Looks like there are light strips for the brake light. Pull fuse and no issues there. Pulled out tailight housing and no short on the small mini bulb.

However, I dont think that the mini bulb is for the brake light, perhaps for reverse.

I'm out of ideas, any other insights before buying another taillight assembly? Are the brake lights LEDs? If so I might be screwed and have to order another tailight housing. FML, the cheapest is $421

Did the connection get wet? I’ve had it happen before because of a car wash. Also housings shouldn’t be that much. Shop around.

Happened to me there other day. After I washed my car, especially that area with a pressure washer. I waited until morning and it turned back on and the dash notification went away. Could be a fuse, bad connection. If it persists, maybe you should take off the assembly and mess around with the connections. Worst case scenario is changing out the whole assembly because there is no part for those specific rear lights. Find used tail lights on Ebay

Yeah, i took it off and cleaned it.. didn't wash the car. It intermits unfortunately. Sucks that you can't replace the little LED's and have to buy a whole new assembly.

Oh well, life goes on lol

Maybe the smallest possibility could be a fuse that controls that little light strip? Sorry I’m high[emoji23]

FYI Valeo lights are an oem manufacturer, i replaced a right outer with a replacement off ebay, almost half price of oem through audi, seem to recall around $ 240, no coding required, colour illumination was perfect match
