Akrapovic RS7 Downpipes Questions

I just purchased the Akrapovic catless downpipes from another rs7 owner. I have whats on the image below. My question is can I install these with stock exhuasts? Or do I need the link pipes from Akrapovic as well? Also, I'm assuming these will throw CEL? Can I change any values using rosstech tool or obdeleven tool?

the akrapovic down pipes are a 2 piece design. the down pipe that goes from turbo down towards transmission. then the link pipe that connects the down pipe to the exhaust.

you must have both the down pipe and link pipe to connect to the cat-back exhaust, then it will work with stock and most aftermarket exhausts.

...those are akrapovic down pipes? i dont believe they are. the flange looks wrong. and akrapovic hold down looks different (welded nut)

that said, those downpipes do fit the stock exhaust.

you may want to contact the seller of those and clarify the manufacturer. akrapovic demands about 3x the cost of those down pipes.

Yeah it is akrapovic, purchased from eurocharged canada. I almost shit myself when I read your comment, but saw this on akrapovic retailers 209915

if thats the case, i cant comment if youre pipes will fit the stock exhaust. if the flange is anything like the akrapovic stock photo, with a V-band, it will not fit.

based on akrpovics "stock" photos, akrapovic pipes do not fit the stock exhaust without their link pipes.

also, id be saddened to learn that for $4100 ($2800 downpipe and $1300 linkpipe) they cant weld on the nut for the hold downs, or make them out of titanium to match their exhaust system.

and shame on a company charging $9k for an exhaust and $4k downpipes...and not taking the time to photograph actual parts. the pipes you received are nothing like any of the photos akrapovic has published anywhere. different flanges, different O2 locations, different hold downs. its one thing to look different, but the build is different.

I will keep this thread updated as I progress with the install in next few weeks[emoji30] I tried researching to see if anyone ever bought akra downpipes but was not able to find anything on the forums
