View Full Version : Finally finished...

Ok, so it took me an extra week, but I finished everything I wanted to get done during spring break. TB, Water pump, coolant flange, K04, Painting lowers, Axle. Thanks for everyone's help.

Just FYI. Changing the axle the Bentley way keeps you from having to get it realined(sp?), but its a PITA.
I had a hell of a time finding the gasket that goes between the axle and tranny flange. (O'reily told me I didn't need it)

Oh, and by the way, K04 sounds awesome. It's got some extra power too (it might just be spooling faster). I haven't got the ecu chipped yet but that will be this week.

Even though I haven't gotten chipped yet, the rev limiter is different. I got it way up there and no limiter. Wierd!

Thanks again guys. [az]

you're the man...took me like 2 weeks to get around to putting in my boost gauge...today

limiter should be the same so that is wierd. once you get it chipped it will be a new beast!

Yeah, I thought it was wierd to have it go so high. I don't think I will be running hard until I get the chip. I don't want it too be too lean in upper rpms. I don't have the fpr in yet either.

Good job man, guess u didnt need me for the axle! Wasnt too hard right?

Actually what you told me on the phone helped alot. I did it the Bentley way cause I didn't want to get it reallined(sp?)

OT: How do you spell realined? Damn, I feel stupid!
