WTF!!!!!!!!! maybe something prevented it from rolling up all the way.. something could have gone down the crack like a little rock, and if you rolled it up just right, may have shattered it. that sucks bro!!!!!

that happend to our old van, but it was the back window. we were out side and the back was facing our house and all of a sudden the back window blew out. we found no rock, no bbs, nothing that we could find that would of cuased this.

not directly related to your problem but worth mentioning:

the plastic film on tinted windows holds them together. i don't know why nobody ever mentions it but window tint is a spectacular safety feature. i found this out during paramedic training years ago. we used this little tool to break side glass. if there was no tint and a baby on the other side of the glass odds were that he/she would get a mouthful of chiclet sized chunks of glass. a tinted window shatters but stays in one big piece just like a windshield.

yep, it also keeps the noise down when windows break, therefore thieves love it. I wondered why I didn't hear anything when my mustang got broken into a few years back. I just came out the next day and found my window on the drivers seat shattered but held together for the most part.

yeah thats why i use duct tape when breaking and ent....i mean..the word on the street is u can duct tape a window and crack it with a hammer so shards dont go everywhere :)

that sucks, i just got done putting a new drivers side rear window in my car. My friend thought it was a good idea to throw an object out of the window and didn't quite make it out the window. The good news is its only 85 bucks from the dealer and it only takes about an hour to do. Have fun

i figured out a while back about window tint holding glass together. an old buddy of mine lost control of his range rover and found a telephone pole going 80. he had 5% all the way around. i was walking to the crash site one day and stumbled upon a window still in tact. unfortunatly though, it didnt make a difference in this case... him and my other buddy didnt make it.
